Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, Mayfair


Built in the 1920s, the Grosvenor House Hotel opened for business in 1929. It was built on the site of a former home of the Duke of Westminster. The Duke of Westminster comes from the Grosvenor family that has long owned most of Mayfair and many other prime locations in central London.

The Grosvenor House Hotel is today part of Marriot International is officially named Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel. It has 494 guestrooms and recently benefitted from a £142 million renovation and restoration.
